March – October 2012
Stapleton Road Tavern was a temporary creative project space situated in a disused public house on the border of Old Market and Easton in Bristol. The programme presented a series of modest commissions and events, whilst also inviting local artists and community groups to make use of the space free of charge.
Stapleton Road Tavern aimed to become a unique hub for the community where people from all walks of life can come together to engage with each other in creative activity. Delivering a range of arts activities the intention was to create a space where individuals and groups could raise the profile and visibility of their activity and contribute to the regeneration of the Stapleton Road area.
See the Stapleton Road Tavern blog for more information about the programme.
